Day #13 Planning

I am one of those people that really NEEDS to plan. I can certainly go through my day without planning but I quite literally get NOTHING done. I am so thankful that I have figured that out about myself. I think, no, I KNOW my family is thankful too.
I was diagnosed with ADD in high school, then again in college (the psychiatrist actually said she had no idea how I was functioning). Then again in November of last year I was once again diagnosed and started taking medicine for it. It was life changing for me. I realized a lot of things. Maybe I will talk about it later.
One of the main things I learned was that I need to plan. I NEED TO PLAN! You might laugh but well yeah, that's one thing I learned.
When I got pregnant I stopped taking my medication and it has been tough on me. I have had a really hard time getting back on track. This weekend I had a mini melt down and got to the point where I stopped making excuses for myself and got down to planning. It has been an amazing couple of days and I am looking forward to keeping it up. YAY for planning!
Here is what I planned for today:
Wake up at 6:45am
Make bacon, egg Mcmuffins for breakfast.
Make Mike's lunch
Send Ezra off to school
Girls do 10 min. of reading
Send Mike off to work
Finish paying bills
Decorate outside while the girls ride their bikes
Walk to pick up Ezra
Make lunch
Play with the kids till nap
Girls take a nap
Ezra does piano, reading, and math
When I am done helping him I blog while he has quiet time
Girls wake up
Watch 30min show with girls while Ezra plays computer games
Do jobs (each kid does 2 jobs)
Cook dinner
Dance with kids and play
Have dinner when Mike gets home
Kids take baths and clean up while I clean the kitchen and Mike edits
Family prayer and scriptures
Kids go to bed
Watch Biggest Loser while folding 7 batches of laundry that were also washed today
Hang out with Mike
Blog
Get ready for bed
Read scriptures
Prayer
CRASH!
WOW! See how productive I can be when I plan? I am thankful!

Congratulations on the new job! I enjoyed reading your little birthday tribute to Mike. 30 is an awesome age! I like that you schedule in time to play with your kids along with all of the other stuff.

A day in the life of a busy stay-at-home mom! I think EVERY mom needs a daily plan, so I'm gonna try this on my days off so I can feel more productive. Good job!

I feel absolutely crazy without a plan. I know it seems strange, but just having a few goals for the day makes all the difference in how things go and where I spend my time. I love your plan!

I think everyone has to plan or nothing happens! I'm the same. I will wander aimlessly around my house, staring at the kids unless I have something written down! You're and inspiration!
