Everyone needs a Nana! I know I do! Not only because she does amazing selfless things like watch my kids for the weekend so I can get away with Mike (more on that later). Not just because she watches my other sisters kids too (on a regular basis). Not just because she is constantly giving to people all the time without a complaint. Those are all reasons anyone one would be lucky to have a Nana.The reason I need my Nana is because I just do. Nia and I are the youngest of the 5 girls and we spent a lot of years without any other siblings at home. I remember when Nia and I were finally able to have our own room, you would think we were SUPER HAPPY! No, we were lonely and often times would show up in the others room just for fun and only go to our own rooms to sleep. Nia and I can hang out and not say anything and be totally happy. That doesn't usually happen because we like to laugh too much but we could. Maybe one day...

ok, we saw your parents this weekend and they filled us in on your good news that I hadn't heard yet because i'm a super bad blogger lately. Congratulations!!! That is seriously exciting! YOu guys make gorgeous kids and are the best parents!!!! Big congrats to Mike on the new job as well!! I don't know a family who deserves all the blessings more- these are totally not coincidental pieces of good news in your life- you guys are awesome! lots of love and happy new year!!
