Day #7: The Library

When we moved here from Hawaii 3 years ago we were without a job and without a plan. All we knew was that we were supposed to come to Utah. We were blessed when he got a job at the Orem Public Library. While he certainly never thought he would work at a library it has turned out to be a pretty awesome fit. They hired Mike because if his video skills which are awesome and plentiful! Since he has been hired they have expanded their media needs and he has done an amazing job of encouraging them along the way.
Our family has benefited TONS! Here are just a few ways:
-A steady job through this tough economy
-Amazing benefits because we worked for the city
-A flexible job that allows Mike to flex his hours so he can be available for us pretty much anytime we need
-A growth in video skills for Mike
-A love of reading that was there before but has certainly grown because Mike was working at the library
-A steady flow of book and movies for FREE (I can count the number of movies we have actually purchased since we moved here on my fingers)

While we have loved our time at the library Mike is starting a new job on Monday which we are all REALLLY REALLY excited about (more to come on that). So, today we are all truly grateful for Mike's current job that has afforded us this wonderful life we have!
